So the 26th July AGCC hearing passed without a resolution, re-scheduling a private hearing for no later than the end of September.

On the plus side Full Tilt has just paid the outstanding $450,000 to the AGCC so there must be some hope of getting the show back on the road.

However things have just dragged on for too long going from bad to worse and back again with ridiculously incompetent crisis management on the part of Full Tilt.

I actually dont think Full Tilt can even have someone who knows what public relations is let alone crisis management If they did they would have managed this whole thing differently from day one.

So Im using my Full Tilt Poker One Time here and now

Full Tilt need to come through with something concrete within the next two weeks, by the 26th August latest or I honestly think its all over.

At the end of December, the Department of Justice changed its stance on the Wire Act of 1961 and said that it only applies to sports betting, which means the online gambling and online poker field is wide open.  Now, to understand some of what were seeing on ABC News and other news media  - the DOJs reversal didnt make online gambling legal in the United States. They just made it not already illegal on a Federal level. That means that states can pass online gambling legislation without violating federal law. And many of them are already on their way to doing so, particularly where online poker is concerned. Nevada is already issuing licenses for online poker. N
