London-based visual artist Ryan Gander has, in collaboration with design collective Europa, designed a set of photonegative playing cards especially for playing Parallel Black Jacks, a blackjack variation especially developed for the parallel cards. The cards were originally created by Gander and Europa in 2006 for the Standard Hotel in Miami. They are printed on both sides (with different denominations on each side), which is necessary for the tournament game they were designed for. However, it also means that these fairly pricy cards ($60/~R425) can thus only be used to play a limited amount of games.

More than two years after coming second at EPT London, Swedish pro Michael Tureniec has finally claimed an EPT title, taking down the Season 7 EPT Copenhagen main event. The 25-year-old, from Stockholm, beat fellow Swede Per Linde to snag the DKK 3,700,000 first prize (approximately €496,271). His victory also earned him a stunning bracelet from EPT Copenhagen Official Bracelet Sponsor Shamballa Jewels, and a seat into the Season 7 EPT Grand Final in Madrid in May.

DKK 15,000 NLHE Last season’s EPT Copenhagen champion Anton Wigg is leading the DKK 15,000 event (equivalent to the normal EPT €2,000 event) with 300,000. There are just nine players left and they are playing down to a winner tonight. A total of 84 players entered the event and eight will be paid. First prize is DKK 441,504 and the total prize pool is DKK 1,209,600.
