Microsoft announced that a new poker game for the Xbox Live console will take the place of the game 1 vs. 100 which was stopped due to lack of donors earlier this season. This game can be downloaded by anyone free of charge.

The new poker application game is called Full House Poker which will be launched in spring 2011. The game will offer tournaments and heads-up games while the graphics will be similar in style to the live video broadcasts of the events.

Apart from playing against bots, players will be able to compete against each other. We should clarify here that there is no mention about real money games so we must assume that – at least initially – Full House Poker will offer games exclusively for fun.

Up to 30 players will be able to compete in tournaments. In addition to Texas Hold’em “cash game” tables, the great attraction of the game will be the Texas Heat. In this mode, players will compete in live events – which are integrated in a full season – at tables of 10 persons. The winners will climb on tournament tables while the losers will fall. The winner of the top table will be the champion of the tournament.

The game also includes a number of professional players . If you manage to win them you get as a reward their shirt! To make the game more exciting, there will be more than 150 virtual prizes that you will have to “unlock” as well as tables with special design, special locations, special cards, costumes, movements of avatars, special chairs, fiddling with the poker chips and many more.
