Today reading through the latest news about bingo there was a survey performed by another bingo portal that suggested; through the data collated that one third of all players would play bingo on their mobiles! This shocked me because as an avid player online it’s something that doesn’t interest me in the least.

I know some of the big name brands, and even a few smaller ones, do have mobile bingo offerings; brands like Mecca Bingo, Foxy Bingo and a site dedicated to the game on your mobile, MMM Bingo but I simply don’t get it. Why would you choose to play on a small screen when sitting at a lap top or PC gives you so much more functionality?

Maybe I just haven’t given mobile bingo a chance, I found it cumbersome, restrictive and hard to play but the biggest loss for me was the sense of community that you get in a bingo chat room. Yes, some of the mobile platforms for our favourite game do offer a chat option but it’s just not the same in my opinion.
